How can I help?

As an ambassador for mental health and resiliency, I facilitate The Working Mind curriculum for the Mental Health Commission of Canada. Attendees for these courses included paramedics, police officers, healthcare workers and corporate employees, as well as mentoring new facilitators as master trainers.

The scope of experience over my 26-year career in prehospital care spanned the many facets of emergency medical services and leadership. I have a passionate interest in mental health and wellness, stigma reduction, resiliency and just culture, as well as a deep understanding of the success factors that are needed for personal and professional growth.

In one on one sessions, I am able to provide an approach of support and growth mindset to not only guide clients through obstacles such as aging parents, divorce, job relocation, parenting issues, retirement or job transitions but also support them to grow and develop beyond them. Clients will experience shifts in thoughts and motivation with my trauma-informed training, with a focus on positive solution-focused coaching, leadership development, smart decision-making, and creative problem-solving.

Home is in Muskoka Ontario Canada, surrounded by the beautiful geography of the region.

Author

I will be publishing my first book at the end of 2023. Growing up with a Father who lived with Huntington's Disease is not a happy story. Sadly the impact of this disease caused a lot of heartache, sadness and trauma.  My purpose in sharing my story is to help financially support my brother who inherited this horrible incurable disease.     More information will be shared once dates are confirmed.
